We were very lucky to be able to take another beach trip this summer. This time we went with Grandma and Grandpa Foster to Hilton Head Island (we were also excited that Ella and Cavner's cousin Janae could join us as well!). We had a wonderful long weekend with beautiful weather. Ella as usual loved playing in the sand, and Cavner really enjoyed being outside and watching everything that was going on.
The difference between this trip and others is that Ella really LOVED playing in the ocean. In the past it always scared her a little bit, but this trip she was jumping the waves with daddy and running all over the place with her new sand wagon.
We went to dinner one night at Salty Dog. Ella really liked petting and talking to Jake (the salty dog).
Ella also showed us how big she is getting in the pool. They had a kiddie pool that Ella loved to play in. She was even jumping up and going under water and blowing bubbles for a while before she came back up. I have to admit that it made me nervous and there were a few times where I wanted to jump in after her. Ella however was not the least bit scared and she would come up so proud of herself. Yeah Ella! We are so proud of the little fish that you have become!!
