All spring we were trying to go camping, and we were either busy or we thought that it was too hot. Well, we finally decided that we needed to just do it, and we picked a date and made the reservation. The weekend that we picked it was about 95 every day. Lucky us! The kids actually didn’t seem to mind and they really had fun being outside. Cavner is definitely happiest when he is outside.

After breakfast we decided to go for a hike.

There was also a beach by the campground so on Saturday afternoon we went and cooled off at the beach.
There was a craft for the kids at the lodge later in the afternoon.

The next morning while daddy and mommy were taking down camp Ella and Cavner kept busy….

We all had a great time and we are looking forward to doing it again… maybe when it gets below 80 degrees!
