Ella was very excited to be going back to school. We went to a meet and greet the day before where we met her teacher, and she had a hard time understanding why she couldn’t have Ms. Becky and Ms. Mo (her teachers from last year).
When I picked her up she said that she had a really fun day, and that she met some new friends. We celebrated the first day by going and getting some ice cream. Her favorite thing is actually soft pretzels, so I told her that we could go and get one, but she said that she wanted ice cream instead.
When we got home Grandma had a gift for Ella. Grandma actually bought it for Ella and Cavner the day before, but I know how much Ella likes to open gifts, so we packaged it up and let her open it.
It was a tent and a tunnel. Ella and Cavner have had a lot of fun playing with this in the backyard, and in the house.
We love you bunches our little bug-a-boo and we are so glad that you had a good first day. You are growing up SO fast. Slow down, okay?!
You are one loved and spoiled little kid, Ella! Cavner enjoying the benefits of being the youngest child.
