Ella and Cavner both have birthdays in March so we decided to do a joint birthday party for them this year. We decided on doing an Easter Egg Hunt, since Easter is close to their birthdays. I had a lot of fun planning this party, and we had the most beautiful day!!
The guests were greeted by this balloon garland that we hung across our driveway. Many thanks to my family for blowing up, tying, and untangling these balloons!!
This is the backyard before the party.
There were bunnies….
and an egg decorating station.
Inside was all of the food. We did brunch foods since it was earlier in the morning.
The plates and utensils wrapped like carrots.
There were also egg casseroles, stratas, and fruit that I didn’t get a picture of.
Then there were desserts…
As we waited for everyone to arrive the kids had a lot of fun playing with the bunnies. Cavner liked to pet, but not hold. Ella held the bunnies, but somehow we did not get a single picture of her with the bunnies. This makes me so sad!! I have asked a lot of you, but if anyone out there has a picture of Ella with the bunnies, please let me know.
My only picture of Ella with the bunnies…standing in the pen.
Once all of the guests arrived it was time for the hunt. The kids got to pick out an Easter basket and then we all headed to the front yard where all of the eggs were hidden.
There were also egg races…
Then we sang Happy Birthday and had some cupcakes.
Seeing how excited Ella and Cavner were about the party makes it all worth it. I can’t believe that I have a 4 and 2 year old.
We love you both SO much! Happy Birthday Ella and Cavner!
