I wanted to make some strawberry jam like my mom used to make, so we took the kids to go pick strawberries. Strawberries are Ella and Cavner’s favorite fruit, so they were very excited to see all of the strawberries at their fingertips.
Evidence that Cavner already had eaten some strawberries…the juice smeared all over his face.
Starting to get some in the bucket…
As the day went on there was more picking by daddy and less by Ella and Cavner.
Ella requested that I wear pigtail braids (as she likes to call them) so that we would match.
Finally, one bucket picked!
We left daddy to pick the last bucket of strawberries and we went and got some strawberry ice cream!
Brain freeze!
Our friends live close by, so we went to go play at their house when we were done.
Ella had fun driving Jake’s truck…
and Cavner enjoyed splashing and jumping in the pool.
