Ella LOVES playing in the sand, and she absolutely LOVES the beach. She calls it her "big sandbox." We went to the beach three times while we were in Michigan, and these are pictures from our first visit. It was a beautiful day and Ella really enjoyed her afternoon playing in the sand making sand castles, and even having her legs buried and made into a mermaid (not the best work, but we did it so quickly because we were afraid she was going to move).

Looks like Ella and Cavner had a great time at the beach. I would have loved to be there with them. Maybe we can "take" you all to the beach late summer or early fall.
