The day after my dad's party was the big parade for Tulip Time festival and we were excited that we were going to be in Holland so that we could go. Unfortunately it was FREEZING cold, and we decided that we didn't want to risk getting either of our kids sick by keeping them out in the cold all day. We did manage to go and see the Dutch Dancers that night, and then two days later we took Ella and Cavner to take some pictures in their Dutch costumes. We are still figuring out how to take pictures with the two of them, because Ella will hold him up for about 2 seconds, and if you don't get the picture immediately she drops him and wants to get up. She does not like to sit still these days! Any suggestions on how to pose an infant and toddler would be greatly appreciated!

Watching the Dutch Dancers--It was actually pretty cold, but we braved it and Ella had fun dancing in the streets in her wooden shoes.

Adorable. Was that the same "costume" you had as a dutch dancer... or should I say province of the Netherlands?
ReplyDeleteNo, that is not the same costume that I had. There are actually only 2 costume patterns for babies. The one that she has for next year (yes, she already has one for next year :) is the one that I always had growing up.
