On New Year’s Eve we always go to the beach to have a picnic and watch the fireworks that they shoot off of the pier. This year we had a great night for it (after some cold days!). Ella enjoyed the picnic and playing in the sand, but she was again scared of the fireworks. She buried her head in daddy’s shoulder and fell asleep. I’m not sure why she always falls asleep during fireworks…anyone else have a kid who does this?! Cavner on the other hand seemed to really enjoy them and was very focused on all of the pretty bright lights.
