Some friends of ours are building a beautiful lake house on Lake Jackson, which is about an hour outside of Atlanta. We spent a beautiful Saturday there playing in the water and going on the boat. Ella and Cavner both had a great time, because our kids are all so close in age.
This I think is the old boat dock. They built a new beautiful one that is in the picture behind it, but the kids had fun walking out on this one and jumping off of the platform on the end. Ella can get a little scared of heights, so I was surprised that she would walk out on this so easily. It does go down a little bit at the end where you jump off, and she much preferred going up and down the ladder that was there, to jumping.
After some time in the water, we went on the boat.
Captain Cavner.
Cavner really enjoyed it, but Ella was not enjoying the wind blowing in her face on the front of the boat. Once she moved to the back, she was great and loved being on the boat.
They even had this tube that you can go in with the kids. I didn’t think that Ella would do it, but she said she wanted to try it, and she really had fun!
First of all….don’t judge us!! Cavner kept whining and pointing that he wanted to go in. You really are sitting down in the tube and the boat did not go very fast.

Cavner and Thomas just liked putting water in the tube and playing in their “pool”. They were both supposed to be taking a nap, hence them playing in their clothes. Obviously they both thought that it was much more fun outside! Cavner is a couple months older than Thomas, but who do you think would win in a fight? :)
