The beach!! Both Ella and Cavner love to play in the sand at the beach, so they were very excited to be there.
Can you tell how excited Cavner is?! I promise he smiles all the time…just not for my camera!
There’s a little one…
This banana float is something that Tim’s dad found in their shed. Tim actually played with it when he was younger. The kids had a lot of fun going for rides on it, and it was also a big hit at the pool. We had numerous people ask us where we got it.
That night we went to the Salty Dog Café to eat dinner. We sat outside, ate burgers, and listened to a man sing classic songs while we ate. It really makes you feel like you are on vacation at the beach. I love it!!

Ella was SO excited to meet Jake the Salty Dog. Last year when we were there she got a t-shirt and a book, so she knows all about Jake. She constantly wants to wear her “dog shirt with the yellow hat.”
After dinner we went and watched a magic show…
and ended the evening with ice cream. Vanilla, of course!
