It was Tim's birthday last Saturday, and we started out the day by going to Ella's swimming lessons and then out to breakfast, since it is Daddy's favorite meal of the day! We then went to a cute little cupcake shop in the Marietta Square called Miss Mamie's, where we picked out cupcakes and some ice cream. Ella said "Happy Birthday Daddy" about 40 times that day, and she has said it probably twice a day to him since then. She doesn't quite understand that birthdays are only for a day. Later we went out to dinner, and Ella gave him her present for the day. She ate her entire meal without us trying to force/bribe/trick/beg her to do it. Yeah Ella! I think that was Daddy's favorite gift!
