Ella’s preschool is collecting toys for children who will be spending Christmas in the hospital. We thought that this was a good time to start teaching Ella about how important giving is. We talked to her a lot about this before we went to Target and as Ella was trying to find the perfect gift, we talked to her as well.
She had decided on three gifts, and then had to make her decision.
She decided on this magnetic dress up doll (she has one like this at home).
The cutest thing was that on the way home from the store she kept asking us the name of the girl who would be getting her gift. She didn’t quite understand that we didn’t know, so she kept asking over and over. She even asked me as we brought it to preschool.
