This morning we had a visitor come to our house from the North Pole. Our good friend Goody came back to spend the holiday season with us, and he brought us breakfast and some gifts from Santa!
Goody must have had a lot of snow on his feet because he left footprints all the way from the table up to Ella’s bed.
She woke us up saying that there were little marshmallows all over the floor and the stairs. When she followed them she saw Goody! She was SO excited!
Goody even brought us some snowman friends!
Santa also brought Ella and Cavner some books….
and ornaments for their trees.
Later in the day we got our Christmas clothes on and went to go see Santa!
Ella went first and smiled as she told Santa what she wants for Christmas…Lalaloopsy silly hair doll!
Then Cavner joined her and he was not so sure about sitting on Santa’s lap.
Then Ella got down to let Cavner tell Santa what he wants, and….
the crying began!
He was, however, excited about the candy cane that he got.
Then we waited in line for a carriage ride, and…
as we were waiting we realized that there was no line for Santa Clause so we thought that we would try Cavner again. This time there were no tears, but no smiles either! He sat contently giving Santa high fives. In all of the pictures I got he has this look on his face, but the photographer did actually get a good picture with a hint of a smile!
Finally it was our turn for the carriage ride!
Then we relaxed on the bench with some reindeer friends, while mommy did some quick shopping.
